PENN YAN—The Penn Yan boys varsity basketball team beat Waterloo, 59-38, Tuesday, Jan. 8. James Burdette led the Mustangs with 18 points, followed by Sophomore Ben Covert with 10. Eric Johnson scored eight points. Shane Bloom added six. Jeff Schiek, Sean Emerson, and Scott Walker each had four. Bradley Voigt scored three points, while Alex McKay had two points. Penn Yan's record is now 4-4.
