PENN YAN—The Mustangs' varsity boys basketball team beat Midlakes, 56-43, Friday, Jan. 18. James Burdette led Penn Yan with 18 points. Eric Johnson had 12 points. Ben Covert scored nine, followed by Shane Bloom with eight. Andrew Perl added five, while Jeff Schiek and Scott Walker each had two.
