Meeting:  The Montour Falls village board met Monday, April 4, for one hour and 10 minutes.
Attendance:  Ellen Mathers was the only board member absent.  There were three members of the public in the audience.
Action:  The board authorized Mayor John King, Trustee Phil Smith, and Clerk Suzanne Casselberry to be the village officials who are able to make banking transactions.
• The board approved closing down Main Street from 3 to 7 p.m. on June 25 for Pride Ride.  King said the motorcycles would stop in Montour Falls between 5 and 7 p.m.
• William Summers was allowed to place a structure near the old bathrooms at the Village Marina and Campgrounds.  King said he will operate a boat lift and offer camper, trailer, and boat repairs.  The business will be called Summers Marina.  Board member Jim Howell suggested the agreement initially be for one year.  Summers also asked about signage.

• Mike Hughey was approved to attend a highway course at Ithaca College, June 6 to 8.
Discussion without action:  The board heard a request from Bob Howell for a 50 watt receptacle at the dock he rents.  Jim Howell suggested he just use a converter that would allow him plug into the 30 amp outlet there making it 50 amp.  Action was tabled until the board gets more information,
• Bill Christoffels is paying for upgrades to the electrical and lighting on the second floor of the village hall.  He is using the stage up there for the Old Havana Courthouse Theatre this summer.
Appointments/resignations:  King appointed Jim Ryan to fill his trustee position.
