Senecas' swimming team beats Whitney Point

WATKINS GLEN—The Watkins Glen varsity girls swimming team beat Whitney Point, 107-31, Thursday, Sept. 13.
The 200 medley relay team (Victoria Wixson, Abigail Cocca, Samantha Gill, and Emma Allington) won first with 2:07. The 200 free relay team (Cocca, Ashley Chouinard, Allington, and Gill) also took the top win with 1:57.
In the 200 yard freestyle, Alexis Naylor-Kleman took first (2:27), Sarah Wickham second, and Halle Phillips third. Gill won first in the 200 IM (2:31), while Emily Doppel was second. In the 100 yard fly, Gill claimed first (1:04), followed by Allington in second place. Wixson was first in both the 100 yard backstroke (1:07) and the 100 yard freestyle (1:01). Doppel was second in the backstroke and Chouinard was second in the freestyle. In the 50 yard freestyle, Allington won the top spot (28.0). Alexis Gonzalez was second. Naylor-Kleman won first in the 500 yard freestyle (6:34), Wickham was second, and Phillips third.
