Reed will participate in regional roundtable
SENECA FALLS—Congressman Tom Reed (R-Corning) will be participating in the Finger Lakes Business Roundtable with Women Entrepreneurs and Business Owners Friday, Dec. 6. The event is being sponsored in cooperation with the Yates County Chamber of Commerce and its partners, the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce and the Geneva Chamber of Commerce. The roundtable discussion will be held at the Women’s Rights National Historic Park at 136 Fall St. in Seneca Falls. The forum will begin at 10 a.m. and run until approximately noon. A tour of the Women’s Rights National Historic Park will be held once the event has concluded.
During the event, Reed will be meeting with women entrepreneurs and business owners who operate in the Finger Lakes region to discuss the changes that could help contribute to business and job growth. Reed will be taking part in a roundtable discussion with those who attend and will answer questions regarding the current hurdles of economic growth in the region. Participants are encouraged to ask the congressman about the obstacles to business growth in the area and how the current economic climate can be improved. He will be addressing additional challenges to expansion in the business realm as well as federal regulatory changes that could help foster business and job growth.
Reed will also be discussing and answering questions about the impacts of federal healthcare and its effects on local businesses, as well as other topics related to growth and expansion. Reed will also be listening for input and ideas from the participants on ways to improve the local job and economic climate in the Finger Lakes region.
