Penn Yan boys, girls take fourth

PENN YAN-The Penn Yan varsity track and field teams finished fourth in a meet held at Penn Yan, Tuesday, April 7. Five schools competed.
For the boys, Andrew Davis was first in the 3200 meter run (10:56.7) and second in the 1600 meter run. Kyle Ingerick finished second in the 200 meter run, third in the 100 meter run, and third in the pole vault. John Drozda took third in the 400 meter run. The 4x800 meter relay team took second, while the 4x400 meter relay team was third.
For the girls, Katie Worden won the high jump (4'), while the 4x100 meter relay team also finished first (58.7). Sabrena Parsons took second in the 100 meter hurdles. Lydia Anderson was second in the 400 meter run and third in the long jump.
Emily Fingar was third in the 400 meter hurdles, while Stephanie Owens was third in the 800 meter run. Kayli Harling took third in the shot put. The 4x400 meter relay team finished second.
