Penn Yan, Dundee track teams compete
PENN YAN-The Penn Yan and Dundee varsity track and field teams competed in a meet held by the Mustangs, Tuesday, April 19. For the Penn Yan boys, Kyle Ingerick finished first in the 100 meter dash (12.04). Shawn Owen was first in the pole vault (10'3"), while the 4x400 meter relay team (Owen, Nick Kinsey, John Drozda and Sam Voak) was first in 3:46.54. Drozda was second in the 400 meter dash (56.44). Voak finished second in the 800 meter run (2:13.24). For the girls, Faith Colaneri took first in the high jump (4'0"). Lydia Anderson finished second in the 400 meter dash (1:07.74) and second in the long jump (15'4"). Ali Robeson was second in the 100 meter dash (14.34). Allyssa Johnson placed second in the 200 meter dash (29.64), while Emily Fingar was second in the 400 meter hurdles (1:21.44). Emma Harling was second in the shot put (26'10") and Teresa Pietrusinski finished second in the discus (57'4"). For Dundee, Geordan Conyers finished first in the long jump (20'11"), first in the triple jump (41'11"), and second in the 200 meter dash (24.34). Jovhannie Andrades took first in the shot put (40'2.5"). In the discus, Leif Hoyt was first (91'4"), while Michael Shearin was second (87'2"). Sam Richards was second in the pole vault (9'6"). Paige Easling finished second in the high jump (4') for the girls. Emily Oughterson was third in the 100 meter dash (14.64) and third in the long jump (14'0"). Jeanette Jayne tied for third in the high jump (3'9").
