PENN YAN--The Penn Yan varsity football team added another win to their record Thursday, Oct. 20, with a 38-12 win over the Waterloo Indians in the Connors and Ferris Bowl. The team's record stands at 3-5 this year. On offense, Will Rogers led the team through the air completing eight of 11 pass attempts for 215 yards and four touchdowns. Dylan Stape had two receptions for 106 yards and two touchdowns of 44 and 62 yards. Desmond Battin added four receptions for 93 yards and one 50-yard touchdown catch. Conner Fingar had two receptions for 31 yards and a 19-yard touchdown catch. Stape led the rushing attack with 22 rushes for 180 yards and one touchdown. Caleb Plain added two rushes and a touchdown. Defensively, Cadin Lloyd led with 10 tackles, three assists, one sack and one forced fumble. Jack Peterson added five tackles and four assists, while Chris Rossi had seven tackles and one assist. Stape had six tackles and two assists, while Rogers added two tackles and one interception. Fingar added four tackles an three assists. Brennan Prather had one tackle, two assists and one interception.
