PHOTO GALLERY: Penn Yan wins homecoming game against Midlakes

PENN YAN-The Penn Yan varsity football team improved their season record to 4-0 with a win, Saturday, Sept. 23 at homecoming. The Mustangs beat Midlakes, 37-8.
Dylan Stape had two touchdowns. Desmond Battin, Conner Fingar and Brennan Prather all had one touchdown. Will Rogers recorded 11 carries for 26 yards. Through the air he had four completions on 20 attempts for 70 yards and one touchdown.
During halftime, the 2017 class of athletic hall of fame inductees was introduced as well as crowning the homecoming queen. The newest hall of famers included: Paul Chapman, Michael Manley, Butch Mashewske, Jennifer Miles and the 1967 football team.
Riley Kuver was named the homecoming queen and was escorted by Eli Moon.
