Dundee soccer falls to Honeoye DUNDEE--The Dundee/Bradford girls varsity soccer team fell in their home opener to Honeoye, Saturday, Oct. 3. The final score was 1-0. Kirsta Sleve made six saves for the Lady Scots.
Boys Soccer The combined Dundee and Bradford boys soccer team also lost to Honeoye, Saturday, Oct. 3, 1-0. Honeoye took 18 shots in the game.
Penn Yan SHORTSVILLE--The Penn Yan varsity golf team defeated Newark 231-287, Friday, Oct. 2. Max Brodmann, Clayton Koivuniemi and Kevin Smith all recorded a 44 in the match. Penn Yan fell to Waterloo 217-227, Wednesday, Sept. 30. Brodmann had a 42. The Mustangs defeated Midlakes, 232-282, Tuesday, Sept. 29. Brodmann shot a 41 and Cameron Bassage a 44.
Girls Tennis The Penn Yan girls tennis team swept Waterloo, Saturday, Oct. 3, 5-0. Molly Pullen, Claire Pullen and Abigail Garvey won in singles matches. The doubles team of Jayden Hollister and Sydney Moravec and Grace Swarthout and Abby Bodine were also victorious.
Girls Soccer The Lady Mustangs opened the season with a win over Geneva, Saturday, Oct. 3. The final score was 3-1. Goals were recorded by Hailey Hassos and Hayley Andersen (two). Elle Harrison made seven saves.
