DUNDEE--The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Auxiliary No. 8649 will host the Family Freedom Festival, Saturday, July 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The celebration is at the Goodrich Smith VFW post at 125 Seneca St. Ext. The free event will feature food, music, a car show and vendors.
A children’s patriotic bike parade is scheduled for 1 p.m. with prizes for first, second and third place.
The festival celebrates the freedoms afforded to all Americans and will include information about how the auxiliary helps support veterans and the community. Further education about the flag and voting will also be available at the event.
