Penn Yan-Dundee Football
The Penn Yan-Dundee football team played against LeRoy on the road, Friday, Oct. 20. The Scottish Mustangs fell 49-6. The team will return to LeRoy to open sectionals in Class C, Friday, Oct. 27. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

Dundee-Bradford
Boys Soccer
The Dundee-Bradford boys soccer team lost to Bolivar-Richburg in sectional play, Saturday, Oct. 21. The final score was 2-0.

Girls Soccer
The Dundee-Bradford girls soccer team lost to Byron-Bergen in the second round of sectionals, Friday, Oct. 20. The score was 9-0.
The team won its opening game against Alexander, 2-1, in overtime, Tuesday, Oct. 17. Scoring were Korrin Yeoman and Kendall Parker. Assists were posted by Madison Hughes and Bruna Crespo. Adalyn Tham had seven saves in goal.

Volleyball
The Dundee-Bradford volleyball team lost to Bloomfield, 3-0, Monday, Oct. 16.

Cross Country
The Dundee-Bradford cross country team competed at the Red Jacket meet, Tuesday, Oct. 17. For the boys, Devon Grandall was 17th, Braedyn Fisher was 26th and Joey Torpy was 31st. For the girls, Cheyanne Grandall took 12th and Marley Duffy was 21st.

Penn Yan
Boys Soccer
The Penn Yan boys soccer team fell to Haverling in the opening round of sectionals, Wednesday, Oct. 18. The final score was 1-0.

Girls Soccer
The Penn Yan girls soccer team lost to Dansville in a sectional matchup in Class B, Saturday, Oct. 21. The final score was 3-0.
The team opened the tournament with a win over Wellsville, 3-1, Tuesday, Oct. 17.

Cross Country
The Penn Yan cross country team competed at the Red Jacket meet, Tuesday, Oct. 17. James Tette was first in 16:44.2. Anthony Wheeler was third and Finn Tette placed sixth. For the girls, Ameina Samultalski was third. Madison Bishop placed 20th.

Volleyball
The Penn Yan volleyball team lost to Midlakes in five games, Friday, Oct. 20. Game scores were 25-17, 28-26, 20-25, 24-26 and 8-15.
The team won in five against Harley-Allendale Columbia, Wednesday, Oct. 18. Lexie Parsons recorded three aces, six kills, three blocks and one dig. Hailey Trank posted five kills, 24 assists and seven digs. Rosslan Force added four aces and 13 kills.

Hammondsport
Boys Soccer
The Hammondsport boys soccer team lost to Arkport-Canaseraga in a Class D sectional game, Tuesday, Oct. 17. The final score was 5-1.

Girls Soccer
The Hammondsport girls soccer team lost to Avoca-Prattsburgh, 6-1, Wednesday, Oct. 18 to open sectionals.

Volleyball
The Hammondsport volleyball team lost to Prattsburgh/Avoca, 3-0, Wednesday, Oct. 18.
The team also fell to Belfast/Genesee Valley, 3-2, Tuesday, Oct. 17. Game scores were 25-20,20-25, 22-25, 25-23 and 17-15.

Schuyler Storm
Football
The Schuyler Storm football team posted a victory during Watkins Glen's homecoming weekend, Friday, Oct. 20. The team played Whitney Point and won 69-16.
The leading rusher was Bradley Gillis with 10 carries for 235 yards and five touchdowns. Ryan Willett added 13 carries for 148 and one touchdown, while Nick D'Alleva posted nine with 32 yards and a touchdown.
Quarterback Gavin Lohmeyer was 6-for-8 with 127 yards and two touchdowns.
Brady Cannon made two catches for 49 yards and a touchdown. Alex Holmes had one catch for 49 yards and a touchdown. Gillis added a catch for 20 yards.
On defense, Aries Harler, Willett, Gillis and Cannon each had three tackles.

Girls Swimming
The Schuyler Storm girls swimming team won the IAC championship at Watkins Glen, Saturday, Oct. 21. The team had a score of 523 with seven first-place finishes, six second and three third.
Thalia Marquez posted four wins for the Storm, as did Alannah Klemann. Emily Melveney had two wins.
In diving, Casey Hines was first taking the championship.

Watkins Glen
Girls Soccer
The Watkins Glen girls soccer team defeated Groton, 2-1, Saturday, Oct. 21. Scoring in the game were Jennifer Gublo and Skye Honrath. Assists were added by Sasha Honrath and Brenna Pierce. Goalie Lilly Ameigh made seven saves.
"Well, in sectionals, the only thing that ultimately matters is advancing, and we managed to advance today," said Coach Scott Morse. "Groton came ready to compete and played tough throughout. I thought we generally controlled the majority of the game but struggled to put the ball in the net. We had several opportunities that we usually capitalize on, but just couldn’t get them to go today."
The soccer team played Waverly to prepare for sectionals, Wednesday, Oct. 18. The Lake Hawks won 3-0. Scoring were Skye Honrath (twice) and Sasha Honrath. Ameigh made 12 saves in the goal.

Boys Soccer
The Watkins Glen boys soccer team lost to Marathon, 6-0, in sectional play Tuesday, Oct. 17.

Cross Country
The Watkins Glen cross country team competed at the Whitney Point Invitational, Tuesday, Oct. 17. Johnny VanScoyk finished fourth, Aidan Maphis was ninth and Isaac Hendrickson 10th.

Volleyball
The Watkins Glen volleyball team lost to Lansing, 3-0, Thursday, Oct. 19. The team fell to Whitney Point, Wednesday, Oct. 18. The game tally was 3-0.

Odessa
Volleyball
The Odessa-Montour volleyball team fell to Moravia, 3-0, Thursday, Oct. 19. The team also lost to Union Springs, 3-0, Wednesday, Oct. 18.
