HAMMONDSPORT--Scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 9 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Hammondsport’s village square will be transformed into a winter wonderland, setting the stage for a magical celebration that caters to all ages. The event begins with the Keuka Lake Players at the Chamber of Commerce Bell Choir in the Square followed by the tree lighting ceremony.
Santa will arrive by fire truck at 5 p.m., followed by wagon rides, the Maple City Barbershop Chorus in the Square, and the Hammondsport Methodist Singers and Band.
Vendors will include: Yakisobas, FestCoin, JR’s BackAlley BBQ, Bartlett Family Farm, Pendergast Food, BCrafts, Ellis Designs, Freeze Dried Goodys, Gloria Jeans Creations and The Amusements Studio.
The day will begin with a breakfast with Santa at the Hammondsport Fire Department from 8 to 11 a.m. The event is sponsored by the department’s auxiliary.
