Week of 4-30-25
Dundee-Bradford
Softball
The Dundee-Bradford softball team won against Red Jacket, 11-0, Tuesday, April 22.
Morgan Sutryk had the win on the mound with nine strikeouts. Adalyn Tham was in for four innings with six strikeouts.
Tham was 2-for-3 at the plate. Korrin Yeoman and Morgan Sutryk each drove in two runs for Dundee-Bradford.

Baseball
The Dundee-Bradford baseball team lost to Red Jacket, 10-2, Wednesday, April 23.
Nate Kiskaden, Jeremy Stiles, Dom Spina and Joey Torpy had hits.
Spina and Cyle Howell both had sacrifice flies driving in the only runs for the BraveScots.
Jeremy Stiles went three and a third innings and struck out two. Alex Goltry came in for two and two-thirds innings, striking out four.

Penn Yan
Boys Lacrosse
The Penn Yan boys lacrosse team gave up their first loss of the season against Canandaigua, Saturday, April 26. The game score was 16-10, although at halftime it was 8-7.
Braden Fingar scored four goals in the game. Teagan Fingar had two goals and two assists. Will Thompson made eight saves in the goal.
The Mustangs won against Brighton, 11-10, Thursday, April 24. Braden Fingar led with five goals and one assist. Teagan Fingar added two goals and three assists, while Tukker Fisher scored three times. Thompson made 14 saves in the goal.

Girls Lacrosse
The Penn Yan girls lacrosse team won in the closing seconds against Irondequoit on a Bailey Cooper goal, Friday, April 25. Cooper had six goals in the game and two assists. Gianna Voigt scored one goal and had three assists. Marion Wheeler had two saves in the goal.
The girls fell 13-8 against Ithaca, Wednesday, April 23. Cooper posted four goals and two assists. Marion Wheeler made six saves in the cage.

Baseball
The Penn Yan baseball team fell to Mynderse, 11-2, Thursday, April 24. Logan Miller had seven strikeouts on the mound. Tyler Gilbert was 2-for-3 at the plate with a home run, Gavin Weston was 1-for-2 and Spencer Jensen was 1-for-1.
The Mustangs also played Mynderse earlier in the week and lost 17-6 on Tuesday.

Softball
The Penn Yan softball team played a doubleheader at FLCC, Friday, April 25. The Mustangs lost the first game to Wayne, 17-1 and the second, 25-8.
The girls also lost two games to Mynderse earlier in the week, 25-3, on Thursday and 21-3, on Tuesday.
In Thursday's game, Brianna Naprava hit a double to left center. Julia Maldonado had an RBI.

Track
The Penn Yan track and field team competed at the John Reed Invitational, Saturday, April 26.
Lydia Sciallo was first in the discus throw and took second in the shot put.
Anthony Sciallo took second in the shot put and discus events.
Austin Race was second in the 400 meter dash.
The boys team was third overall. The girls finished eighth.

Tennis
The Penn Yan tennis team beat Wayne Tuesday, April 22, 5-0. Recording wins were: Nathaniel Chaffee, Aidan Dallos, Colin Alexander, Jarrett Hollister/Ian Thompson and Brady Mcloud/Blake Hollister.

Hammondsport
Baseball
The Hammondsport baseball team lost to Naples, Saturday, April 26. The final score was 7-5. The Lakers also lost to Campbell-Savona, 10-0, Wednesday, April 23.

Softball
The Hammondsport softball team defeated Hinsdale, Saturday, April 26. The final score was 23-5. The Lakers lost to Campbell-Savona, 12-11, Wednesday, April 23. The team also fell to Andover-Whitesville, 22-10, Tuesday, April 22.

Track
The Hammondsport track and field team competed at the John Reed Invitational, Saturday, April 26.
Emmy O'Neill was first in the 2,000 meter steeplechase in 8:30.97. Alexis Hurd took third in the shot put.

Schuyler Storm
Softball
The Schuyler Storm softball team won against Dryden, 15-2, Wednesday, April 23. Lauren Signor drove in five runs on four hits in the game.
Paige Ells struck out seven on the mound.
Olivia King recorded two doubles in the game and Amy Field posted a triple.
The softball team defeated Trumansburg, 14-2, Monday, April 21. Paige Ells notched 10 strikeouts in the game. Field and King each collected two hits for the Storm.

Baseball
The Schuyler Storm baseball team lost to Arkport 10-1, Saturday, April 26.
The baseball team won against Dryden, 15-3, Wednesday, April 23. The Storm had eight runs in the third inning to get the win.

Watkins Glen/Notre Dame
Lacrosse
The Watkins Glen/Notre Dame lacrosse team defeated Dryden, 20-9, Saturday, April 26. Finn Schweizer led with five goals and three assists. Nick D'Alleva contributed four goals and four assists. Landon English added three goals and four assists. Sam Hohle earned five goals and one assist. Chris O'Brien, Garrett Kone and Caden Hall all had 1 goal each
Dylan Mattoon made 15 saves in the goal, reaching a career total over 300 now.

Tennis
The Watkins Glen tennis team defeated Trumansburg, 5-0, Saturday, April 26. Winning for the Lake Hawks were: Levi Murphy, Andre Wixson, Enric Lin, Max Ricca/Ryan Baudendistle and Logan Debolt/Kristofer Burke.
The tennis team also won against Lansing, 3-2, Thursday, April 24. Recording wins were: Murphy, Wixson and Lin.
The team topped Southern Cayuga, 5-0, Wednesday, April 23. Murphy, Wixson, Lin, Ricca/Baudendistle and Debolt/Burke all saw wins.
 
Week of 4-23-25
Penn Yan
Boys Lacrosse
The Penn Yan boys lacrosse team defeated Westhill, Saturday, April 19 to move to 6-0 on the season. The game score was 8-3.
Teagan Fingar posted four goals and two assists. Braden Fingar added two goals and one assist, while Mike Gigliotti and Tukker Fisher each had one goal and one assist. Will Thompson made 16 saves for the Mustangs in the goal.
The boys topped Thomas, 13-9, Thursday, April 17. Teagan Fingar led with five goals and one assist. Tukker Fisher contributed three goals and two assists.  Miles Ditzell and Gigliotti each scored twice. Thompson made 22 saves in the cage.
The Mustangs routed  Cortland on the road, Tuesday, April 15. The final score was 19-3. Teagan Fingar led in goals with four, while Fisher paced the team with four assists. Ditzell, Braden Fingar and Fisher all contributed three goals.

Girls Lacrosse
The Penn Yan girls lacrosse team defeated Canandaigua, 9-8, Saturday, April 19 at Penn Yan. Ruby Berry found the net five times in the game. Bailey Cooper and  Makenna Mullins each scored twice. Marion Wheeler posted three saves.
Over spring break, the team traveled to play three games in the Boston area.
The Mustangs defeated Hingham, 12-11, Wednesday, April 16. Cooper had five goals and two assists. Each recording two goals in the game were Corinne Barden, Berry, and Maihue Miranda-Wiltberger. Marion Wheeler posted five saves in the goal and Megan Wheeler made four.
The girls lost to Cohasset, 12-8, Monday, April 14. Cooper and Berry each scored three goals. Marion Wheeler made five saves. The team also fell to Duxbury, Saturday, April 12. The final score was 13-9. Gianna Voigt, Barden and Mullins each scored twice.

Schuyler Storm
Softball
The Schuyler Storm softball team won against Dryden, 18-1, Thursday, April 17. The Storm had 15 hits in the game. Paige Ells and Olivia King each had three. Amy Field and Brianna Hatch drove in three runs each.
On the mound, Ells struck out eight.
The team shut out Trumansburg, 15-0, Monday, April 14.
Paige Ells, Keira Ells and Lauren Signor combined on the mound for a no-hitter in the game.
The Storm was able to draw 18 walks at the plate and combine it with 13 stolen bases to mercy rule Trumansburg in five innings.

Baseball
The Schuyler Storm baseball team lost to Lansing, 17-7, Friday, April 18.
The team won against Dryden, 15-3, Thursday, April 17. Gavin Lohmeyer drove in four runs on two hits in the game. Blake Thomas also recorded two hits.
The baseball team lost to Trumansburg, 11-1, Monday, April 14.

Watkins Glen/Notre Dame
Lacrosse
The Watkins Glen/Elmira Notre Dame lacrosse team won against Windsor, 17-3, Thursday, April 17. Landon English posted six goals and one assist. Nick D'Alleva had five goals and five assists, while Finn Schweizer added three goals and four assists. Goalie Dylan Mattoon made 12 saves.

Dundee-Bradford
Baseball
The Dundee-Bradford baseball team defeated Marcus Whitman, 15-8, Wednesday, April 9. The BraveScots had 18 hits. Jeremy Stiles was 3-for-4 with a double and triple and posted three RBIs. Alex Goltry went 4-for-5 with a double and also had three RBIs. Dom Spina, Chris Clancey and Clay Gleason all had two hits.

Penn Yan
Boys Lacrosse
The Penn Yan boys lacrosse team defeated Geneva, 13-6, Saturday, April 12. Teagan Fingar led with five goals and four assists. Tukker Fisher scored four goals. Braden Fingar earned two goals and two assists. Mike Gigliotti and Collin Bacher had one goal each. Will Thompson made 13 saves.
The boys routed Haverling, 19-0, Thursday, April 10. Tukker Fisher paced the team with five goals and three assists. Teagan Fingar posted three goals and five assists.

Girls Lacrosse
The Penn Yan girls lacrosse team fell to West Genesee in overtime, 10-9, Monday, April 7.  Bailey Cooper scored three goals, Corinne Barden and Gianna Voigt each had two, while Ruby Berry and Maihue Miranda-Wiltberger added one each.  Marion Wheeler posted nine saves in the goal.

Baseball
The Penn Yan baseball team fell to Geneva, 13-3, Wednesday, April 9.

Softball
The Penn Yan softball team lost to Bloomfield, Wednesday, April 9. The final score was 14-0.

Tennis
Penn Yan beat Mynderse, Wednesday, April 9, by a score of 5-0 on the road. Recording victories for the Mustangs were: Nathaniel Chaffee, Aidan Dallos, Colin Alexander, Jarrett Hollister/Ian Thompson and Brady Mcloud/Blake Hollister.

Hammondsport
Baseball
The Hammondsport baseball team lost to South Seneca/Romulus, Monday, April 7. The final score was 9-8.

Softball
The Hammondsport softball team fell to Campbell-Savona, 5-4, Wednesday, April 9. The team also lost to Naples, 14-3, Monday, April 7.

Schuyler Storm
Softball
The Schuyler Storm softball team won against Notre Dame, 18-1, Friday, April 11. Paige Ells pitched a no-hitter for Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour.
Lauren Signor led the team with three hits in four at-bats from the leadoff position. Olivia King collected two hits in four at-bats. Keira Ells drove in four runs on two hits. Brianna Hatch got on base with three walks in the game.
The softball team lost to Thomas Edison, 7-6, Wednesday, April 9. Despite a six-run deficit in the sixth inning, the Storm almost came all the way back, losing by only one point.
King had three RBIs in the game on one hit. Jaden Jarrell posted two hits.

Baseball
The Schuyler Storm baseball team lost to Notre Dame, Friday, April 11. The final score was 11-7.
The baseball team fell to Thomas A. Edison, Wednesday, April 9. The final score was 6-1.

Watkins Glen/Notre Dame
Lacrosse
The Watkins Glen and Notre Dame combined lacrosse team lost to Chenango Valley, 23-12, Friday, April 11.
The team also fell to Whitney Point, 15-14, Thursday, April 10. Finn Schweizer had seven goals and two assists. Nick D'Alleva contributed five goals and two assists. Goalie Dylan Mattoon made 17 saves.

Odessa
Track
The Odessa-Montour track team hosted Newfield, Thursday, April 10. The boys won overall and the girls lost.
Jed Lynch was first in the 200 meter dash, Tyler Malnoske took the top spot in the 400 meter dash, Issac Hough was first in the 800 meter run, Connor Fiala won the 400 meter hurdles, Jared Watson took the top spot in the pole vault, Brody William won the discus and Brennan Mathews won the shot put.
Lexi Strobel won the 3,000 meter run for the girls. Janne Anderson was first in the 400 meter hurdles, Rilke Arrance won the triple jump, Ella Kramer was the top finisher in the discus and shot put.
 
Week of 4-9-25
Dundee-Bradford
Softball
The Dundee-Bradford softball team defeated Geneva 13-0, Friday, April 4. Morgan Sutryk pitched a no-hitter in six innings with 13 strikeouts. Adalyn Tham was 2-for-3  with a triple and double, including two RBIs and three stolen bases. Piper Simpson was also 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Sutryk posted three RBIs at the plate.
The BraveScots won 22-1 over Marcus Whitman, Thursday, April 3. Korrin Yeoman hit a home run to right field in the second scoring two, doubled in the second scoring one, and singled in the third scoring one. She was 5-for-5 on the day. Sutryk was 3-for-3, Tham 3-for-5 and Alexis Rosno 2-for-3. Hannah Herrick added two runs scored and two RBIs.

Baseball
The Dundee-Bradford baseball team fell to Watkins Glen, 4-1, Friday, April 4.

Penn Yan
Boys Lacrosse
The Penn Yan boys lacrosse team opened the season with a win over Homer in triple-overtime, Friday, April 4. The game score was 11-10.
Teagan Fingar had six goals and one assist including the game winner. Braden Fingar, Tukker Fisher, Mike Gigliotti, Miles Ditzell and John Holly all had one goal each.
Goalie Will Thompson made 18 saves.

Girls Lacrosse
The Penn Yan girls lacrosse team defeated Brighton, 12-8, Friday, April 4 on the road.
Bailey Cooper led with seven goals and one assist. Ruby Berry added three goals, while Maihue Miranda-Wiltberger and Lila Hansen each had one.
Marion Wheeler made seven saves in the goal.

Baseball
The Penn Yan baseball team lost to Palmyra-Macedon, 16-0, Friday, April 4.

Softball
The Penn Yan girls softball team fell to Palmyra-Macedon, Friday, April 4. The final score was 18-2.

Tennis
Penn Yan defeated Bloomfield 3-2, Friday, March 28 to open the season. Securing the win for the Mustangs was the second doubles team of Blake Hollister and Jens Alexander who defeated Ian Garlapow and Holden Lester by a score of 6-4, 6-3. Winning in singles was Nathaniel Chaffee and Aidan Dallos.

Hammondsport
Baseball
The Hammondsport baseball team fell to Addison, 19-2, Friday, April 4.

Softball
The Hammondsport softball team lost to Addison, Friday, April 4. The final score was 17-5. The Lakers defeated Hinsdale 14-12, to open their season, Thursday, April 3.

Schuyler Storm
Baseball
The Schuyler Storm baseball team won over Dundee-Bradford, Friday, April 4. The final score was 4-1.
The baseball team also defeated Whitney Point, 10-0, Thursday, April 3.
Gavin Lohmeyer led the Storm with a grand slam home run in the game.

Softball
The Schuyler Storm softball team defeated Lansing, 6-0, Friday, April 4. Olivia King collected three hits in three at-bats, including a double and two singles.
Paige Ells struck out 13 batters on the day.
The softball team won 10-1 over Whitney Point, Thursday, April 3. Ells recorded 11 strikeouts in the game.

The Watkins Glen/Notre Dame varsity lacrosse team fell to Seton Catholic, 17-9, Tuesday, April 1.
Finn Schweizer had four goals and three assists. Nick D'Alleva posted three goals and three assists. Dylan Mattoon made 14 saves.

Tennis
The Watkins Glen tennis team defeated Newark Valley, 4-1, Thursday, April 3. Winning for the Lake Hawks were: Levi Murphy, Andre Wixson, Enric Lin and Logan Debolt/Ryan Baudendistle.
 
Week of 4-2-25
The Penn Yan girls lacrosse team opened the season against Penfield, Monday, March 31 at home. The Class D Mustangs lost to the Class A Patriots, 15-7.
Bailey Cooper had four goals and one assist. Ruby Berry posted two goals and Makenna Mullins added one. Gianna Voigt contributed one assist. In the goal, Marion Wheeler and Megan Wheeler both made three saves.
